“It is an honor for the Baseball Academy and the Patriots to be a part of this inaugural event. The goal is to bring together the best hitters throughout New Jersey in a competition that not only promotes their skills, but also to have fun in the process,” said Jack Cust, Chief Financial Officer of the Somerset Patriots Baseball Club and founder of  The Jack Cust Baseball Academy.

HealthQuest Park was built in 2000, and features the only state-of-the-art AstroTurf lighted facility in Central Jersey. The complex provides two Little League fields and one regulation size baseball diamond. In 2006, the fields were equipped with new FieldTurf cutouts providing for less rainouts and maintenance. The 90’ field has dimensions of 310′ down the lines and 390′ to center field while the 60′ fields have 200′ dimensions to all fields.
In 1997 Jack Cust Baseball Academy opened its doors for business with the indoor academy which was most recently renovated in 2005. The indoor academy is designed specifically for the development of hitting and pitching. Consisting of three full-size batting cages equipped with pitching mounds and L-Screens, the layout allows for the maximum use of time and space and provides an opportunity for a player to develop and improve their skills on an extremely time efficient basis. The facility also includes a mirrored training area and the JC Video Pro Video Analysis System for more concentrated work on a player’s mechanics. Completing the facility is our Academic Center available to our students for studying and doing homework.
