Power Showcase, Inc. invites you to become a corporate sponsor to one of the most viewed, most exciting, can’t-miss sporting events of the year – the 6th POWER SHOWCASE & Inaugural “Futures Game” will be held at Chase Field December 27-30, 2011!

Created in 2004 by Brian Domenico, a former professional baseball player, the POWER SHOWCASE seeks to celebrate one of the finest moments in sports, the Home Run, as well as featuring the most prolific 36 (18 U.S. born vs. 18 International prospects  from 6 countries) 2013 graduates from around the world.  These players will compete in the inaugural “Futures Game”.  The POWER SHOWCASE provides a platform for the top aspiring power hitting prospects from around the world to demonstrate their baseball skills in a Major League Stadium.

One example of the many highlights of the POWER SHOWCASE is the nine 500ft home runs hit by POWER SHOWCASE participants. Most notably, Bryce Harper, the presumptive 2010 MLB draft pick, hit a 502ft home run in January 2009 and Travis Harrison toped that with his mammoth 504 foot blast in January 2010 “the longest home run ever hit at Tropicana Field”! In December 2010, Daniel Vogelbach set a new international record at Chase Field with his 508 foot blast!

Videos produced by the POWER SHOWCASE highlighting Vogelbach’s, Harper’s and Harrison’s home runs and others have been viewed over 10 Million times! These legendary 500′ home runs have attracted the attention of Babe Ruth’s granddaughter, Linda Ruth Tosetti who has created two awards in honor of the Babe presented at the POWER SHOWCASE.

Well known by high school and little league baseball players, their parents, high school and college coaches, pro scouts, general managers of professional organizations, and baseball enthusiasts, the POWER SHOWCASE website has received over 1 million unique visitors! Thousands more watched the Fifth Annual event which was streamed live over the POWER SHOWCASE network as will all future events.

POWER SHOWCASE participants must achieve and maintain a high level of academic status, while possessing the redeeming leadership qualities and determination that exemplify respect for the game of baseball. All POWER SHOWCASE participants are hand-picked by Domenico and are invited to compete on the international stage.

A fierce proponent of steroid-free baseball, Domenico has spoken out against the use of steroids and other performance enhancing drugs and has tested past POWER SHOWCASE World Champions for performance enhancing substances to underscore intolerance for use of steroids at the POWER SHOWCASE.

The POWER SHOWCASE consists of three days – a light workout and Pro “Scout Day” and finally the Home Run Derby. During Pro Scout Day, POWER SHOWCASE participants demonstrate the five major league tools – running, fielding, throwing, hitting for average, and hitting for power. During the Home Run Derby the  participants are each given 25 outs and the chance to hit home runs with a wood and metal bat. The top five power-hitters advance to the Championship Round where each finalist gets 15 outs. The player who hits the most home runs in the Championship Round is crowned POWER SHOWCASE World Champion.

In addition to the top power-hitting prospects from around the world, local and state media members, college coaches, and professional scouts are in attendance, providing each player the opportunity to display his skills before many top talent evaluators and each sponsor’s products to be viewed by baseball purchasing decision makers.

All players performances during Pro Scout Day and the Home Run Derby are video-taped and compiled into an individual player highlight videos (over 100 will be produced this year). These videos are posted on the POWER SHOWCASE website. Prior participants videos have been viewed by more than 10 million individuals and this number is climbing each day!

The POWER SHOWCASE also has a community outreach imitative called HOME RUNS THAT HELP. The HOME RUNS THAT HELP program partners each POWER SHOWCASE participant with a baseball fan from his local-area who is suffering from a life-threatening medical condition. This individual could be a schoolmate, neighbor, family member or a complete stranger. All of the home runs hit by the participant are dedicated to that special individual.

The Benefit To You: An association with the POWER SHOWCASE aligns your company with one of the most well known and well respected sporting event, which draws top high school talent from the United States and abroad. The majority of POWER SHOWCASE participants go on to play for major league organizations or major Division I and junior college programs. Some even become household names.

Potential advertising exposure to the baseball world is tremendous. Your investment will bring your company direct exposure to tens of thousands of high school and little league baseball players, their families, high school and college coaches, pro scouts, major league organizations and baseball enthusiasts from across the United States. The POWER SHOWCASE also draws players from countries and territories, including Australia, Bahamas, Canada, Caribbean, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, further increasing your advertising potential.
