Corbin Weeks joins the POWER SHOWCASE staff after pursuing his baseball career at Southeastern University.

Florida’s Corbin Weeks thrilled the crowd at the 2012 World POWER SHOWCASE at Marlins Park, with a total of 9 home runs (longest 467ft) – five during the preliminary round and four in the finals to win the Inaguaral Alumni Select Championship. Weeks says he spent a year preparing for the competition, after finishing runner-up the previous year in Arizona to Champ Kyle Carter. Weeks finished 2nd overall in 2011 with 13 home runs, winning the preliminary round (12) and the award for most consecutive home runs (4).

Corbin continued his baseball career at Southeastern University under Coach Jason Beck. The Fire finished runner up to Cal Baptist in 2013 at the NCCAA D1 World Series. In 2014, Weeks helped lead the Fire to its best season in program history (46-16) and winning The Sun Conference for the first time in school history. The Fire fell just short of the NAIA World Series losing to Georgia Gwinnett in the regional final.

In 2015, Weeks’ season was cut short due to a career ending arm injury. At Southeastern University, he had a career .290 batting average with 105 hits, 22 doubles, 6 home runs, and 65 rbi’s.

Corbin will be graduating from Southeastern University on December 16, 2016 and will start his professional career in the financial market with Northwestern Mutual. Corbin is also an assistant coach at powerhouse George Jenkins High School in Lakeland, Florida.
