Ryan “Rowdy” Tellez is the true definition of a student athlete. Maintaining a 3.2 GPA and developing into one of the premier high school sluggers in the country with the rare ability to hit for average and power. With these attributes this is a testament of the foundation set by parents Greg & Lori Tellez. Ryan who’s nickname is “Rowdy” had been identified by a local area scout as an impact bat since the age of 9. Rowdy will show a natural left-handed stroke with loose hands, wrist and a sound that you only hear during batting practice in Big League Spring Training. Considered to some as a baseball rat, Rowdy has exemplified his commitment and dedication on and off the field which encouraged high school coach Jeff Carlson to name Rowdy “Captain” as an underclassmen. Rowdy has verbally committed to the University of Southern California and with his intelligence, work ethic, and natural abilities Ryan or Rowdy Tellez will soon climb the prospect ladder and hopefully be on his way of fulfilling his dream of being a popular fixture in college baseball or preparing himself to the unique Professional baseball lifestyle. - In Solidarity, - Darold T.
