It has been my privilege to have coached Cole Lankford for the last four years. Cole has shown many qualities that have developed his leadership on the baseball field. These qualities include a strong work ethic, dedication to the game, and a burning desire to be the best player he can be. Cole has always played the game of baseball the way it should be played. He has a strong passion and respect for the game. In 30 years of caching high school baseball I have had over 20 All State Players including former Major League Players Todd Haney, Tim Spehr and current big leaguer Kerry Wood. Also included in this list is current Rice All-American Anthony Renden. I feel that Cole has the ability and desire to be included in this group. Because of the many qualities on and off the baseball field, Cole Lankford will realize his dream of playing Division 1 baseball at Texas A&M University. There is no doubt in my mind that he will succeed at the next level. His tireless dedication to be the best will help him make his mark at the next level of play.
