I have had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Camp for the past 5 years. Because we are a high school/ middle school, we get to start working with our players in the 7th grade. Jonathan has been someone we knew was special from day one. From his first day in our program he has been the guy that everyone stopped what they were doing to watch Jonathan take BP. The bat just makes that different sound when he makes contact. Obviously you would have never made contact with Jonathan if you did not know what he was capable of on the field. He is almost always the first one at practice, and normally the last to leave. I have even caught him at the field as early as 7:00am on Saturday mornings hitting off the tee by himself. He will run from football practice to the baseball field to get just one at bat in a fall ball game. He may be even better off the field. Jonathan carries a 3.5 GPA and is a leader at school and in the community. I am proud to have had the chance to work with Jonathan during his high school years and look forward to watching him grow both as a person and baseball player as he prepares to move forward with his baseball career.
