7:15am - Player Check-in Diamond Club Lounge Entrance with Coach Tyson Ambrose - (Future Stars players 10 to 14) - escorted to the THIRD base dugout.
7:30am - 7:45am - Scout Speech Intro
7:45am - 8:00am - Players Stretch
8:00am - 10:30am - Batting Practice
10:30am - 11:45am - Defense
2:30pm to 5:30pm - Welcome Lunch
MONDAY, December 29th - FUTURE STARS ROOKIES POWER SHOWCASE Home Run Derby
FUTURE STARS ROOKIES - DO NOT BE LATE!!!
During the preliminary round each participant will receive 15 outs with the bat of their choice. The field dimension will be 225ft-250ft-225ft. The pitching machine will be set at a velocity of 55/60 mph from a distance of 50 feet. The top three finalist will advance to the Championship Round on Friday, January 2nd.
8:30am to 8:45am – Player Check-in with Coach Eddie & Jerry Gonzalez – at the Diamond Club Entrance. Player’s will be led to the visitors club house to see where they can warm up.
8:45am to 9:00am – Batting order check-in – Third base dugout with Coach Gonzalez
9:00am to 9:15am – MANDATORY Group Photo with Ralph Notaro
9:15am to 9:45am - Player Introductions
9:45am to 9:50am - National Anthem performed by Stephany Canizares
9:50am to 10:15am – First three players will get loose in the cage with Coach Jerry Gonzalez
10:15am – ROOKIES POWER SHOWCASE Begins
TUESDAY, December 30th - 10:45am to 11:00pm
Meeting with Michael Cooper – Shagg & Game
10:45am Player Check-in (parents encouraged to attend) Diamond Club Entrance with Michael Cooper
11:00am to 12:00pm - Mental Strength Session with Michael Cooper.
12:00pm - 12:15pm Player’s will be escorted by coach Jerry Gonzalez from the media room to the first base dugout.
12:15pm to 3:15pm - Shagg
3:15pm to 5:00pm - Break for food
5:30pm to 6:00pm – Team meeting for the AMERICAN roster will be held in the visitors clubhouse with Head Coach Alejandro Machado & Luis Antigua. You will occupy the first base dugout. As soon as you meeting is over watch the home run derby.
6:00pm to 6:30pm – Team meeting for the NATIONAL roster will be held in the visitors clubhouse with Head Coach Tyson Ambrose and Aaron Brewer. You will occupy the third base dugout. As soon as your meet is over watch the home run derby.
7:30pm/8:00pm to 11:00pm – Once the high school POWER SHOWCASE event has concluded, game time will begin within 30-minutes.
