WATCH MASON’S HIGHLIGHT VIDEO

Mason has demonstrated self-discipline, integrity in the classroom, and character on and off the field.  Off the field Mason has showed good judgment and honest character. On the field he dedicated his heart, mind, and body to earn the opportunities such as the power showcase.  I can’t think of anybody more worthy to receive such an opportunity. Mason has come a long way, his dedication to the game and himself is evident in his ability. He works on his game and himself daily. Mason’s transformation is spectacular to watch and we are all very excited to see what other opportunities will present themselves. When it comes to acknowledging Student-Athletes I think it is important to recognize that student comes first, and athlete comes second…Mason Englet is a great Student-Athlete.

Mason has partnered with Garrett Holcombe for Home Runs that Help

Mason Englet’s partner, is 9 year old Garrett Holcombe, an avid baseball fan. Garrett was born with spastic cerebral palsy and wears ankle foot orthotic braces in order to help him walk.  His weekly physical therapy & numerous Botox injections in his legs twice a year helps relax his leg muscles in order to improve his balance & walking.

All funds donated will go directly to Easter Seals of Greater Houston who not only help kids and adults with cerebral palsy but other disabilities like autism and Down syndrome.  They help families through programs from camp to housing and lots of therapy in between.  This year “Team Garrett” is focused on sending kids to Easter Seals’ Camp Smiles at Camp for All.
