Peter has partnered with Ezequiel Hall   for Home Runs that Help

On September 9, 2010, Ezequiel, our three year old baby boy at the time, had been rushed to the emergency room due to having headaches and consistent vomiting. Shortly after arrival and tests being completed, we were informed that Ezequiel had been diagnosed with a brain tumor on his pituitary gland. Shortly after doctors discovered his illness, they decided to perform brain surgery two days later.  On September 11, 2010 Ezequiel had gone through brain surgery successfully & had to be sedated & placed on life support so that all of the surgeons, physicians, nurses can monitor all they needed to monitor while Ezequiel was at a calm. Another doctor decided that because of the location of Ezequiel’s tumor, Ezequiel had to be placed on daily lifetime medication and was then diagnosed with a illness that is called diabetes insipidis, and a hyper thyroid.  Ezequiel had been in the hospital for nearly three weeks and showed amazing progress through out his stay in the hospital. After two weeks being released from the hospital, Ezequiel had a follow up appointment with his neurosurgeon Dr. Mazzola at her office. I brought to Dr. Mazzola’s attention that Ezequiel’s right leg had been swollen and bigger than his left leg since we left the hospital and she immediately had me rush Ezequiel across the street to Goreyeb children’s hospital emergency room to be looked at. After examination, doctors declared that Ezequiel had a blood clot in his right leg which had been caused by the I.V that was inserted in his right leg during his stay in the hospital after brain surgery. Ezequiel had been placed on a blood thinner for a short while to treat the blood clot. After a series of tests performed,  Ezequiel had been cleared of any concerns of the blood clot ever traveling or being much of a life threat. Relieved by this news, and still following up with appointments and MRI’s to be sure that no signs of the tumor returning, in October 2011, Dr. Mazzola’s office contacted me to let me know that Ezequiel’s tumor had reappeared and they needed to perform surgery again. December 2011, Ezequiel had under gone brain surgery for a second time. Thankfully, no other ailments occurred it was the same treatment and routine as the first operation. After being discharged and following up with appointments and tests for a whole year with no signs of the tumor showing up again, in November 2013 doctor Mazzola’s office had set up arrangements for Ezequiel to have his third brain surgery in December 2013. Thankfully Ezequiel successfully pulled through for the third time thanks to his amazing doctors and Ezequiel’s incredible strength. Ezequiel is doing awesome thus far. He still takes on daily medication and goes through frequent examinations to make sure that he continues to do excellent. I’m happy and greatly thankful for his doctors, their amazing help and Ezequiel’s continued progress. I would just hate to not be able to afford any of Ezequiel’s medications, operations if needed, or doctor visits going forward in the future. Thankfully Ezequiel had some type of insurance while going through all that he had to endure, however I want to be sure that he’ll never have to miss out on medications, doctor visits or examinations to proceed in his good health.  It’s very hard to find affordable health insurance due to Ezequiel’s medical history so I pray that Ezequiel would never have to suffer medically due to the lack of finances and not being insured fully. We are very grateful people and any help is extremely appreciated.

Thank you so much in advance,

The Hall family.
