My name is Eddie Marrero, Founder of ProBound USA Baseball. ProBound USA Baseball has been in business since 2007 (f/k/a American Baseball Institute). As founder of ProBound USA Baseball, I’d like to introduce and recommend Landon Fish. Landon is currently a Senior at River Ridge High School in New Port Richey, Florida. I have known Landon for the last 5 years and have also served as his private instructor during this length of time. Landon is an extremely dedicated young man with a tremendous work ethic, on and off the field. He is a student of the game who has a high ceiling and will be an asset to any College baseball program. He is a determined student-athlete with qualities and characteristics that make him a great candidate to both your baseball program and college campus.

Through- out High School, Landon has been committed to taking rigorous courses, the majority of which have been Advanced Placement courses. His perseverance, determination and goal setting have yielded him an un-weighted GPA of 3.6, with a weighted GPA of 4.0. As a student of foreign language (Spanish) for 3 years and a past member of the Spanish Honor Society, Landon visited Costa Rica with his High School, bringing tangible goods to a local school. Combined with his leadership skills, ambition, and integrity, Landon has decided to major in Business in College.

Landon’s drive transfers to his passion on the baseball field. He is an outfielder for his High School Varsity Team. He currently runs a 6’8 with a 4 arm on a 2/8 scale. He is still growing and I suspect both of these numbers will increase over the season. Landon is a disciplined, consistent hitter who has a high on base percentage best suited for a Leadoff or 2nd in the line up. Landon has a good feel for the game and will steal a base when you most need it. Landon’s aptitude is second to none, as well as his willingness to learn. In summary he is a gamer.

Landon is committed to giving back to his community by working with young athletes and students. With over 170 volunteer hours, Landon serves as a volunteer coach for our local little league and helps with his school’s Special Olympics. He also runs baseball camps at a local baseball facility and volunteers as a coach at the MLB Pinch Hit and Run competition. During the summer months, Landon teaches students the importance of preserving the Florida estuaries at the Energy Marine Center. In addition, Landon often volunteers at his local elementary school, helping at school events.
Landon’s strong values of family, education and hard work serves as his persona of what he stands for as a person and student-athlete. His commitment to these core values keeps him well balanced and grounded. Landon is a respectful young man whose only desire is to become a better Baseball player at the College Level as he continues his pursuit in his education.
