Trey Aycock



Coach Trey Aycock is the Evoshield Canes 13U team’s head coach. The Canes are one of the nation’s top programs and the 13U team is one of the nation’s top teams.  The team features some of the nation’s best players, many of whom are playing in the Power Showcase.  Coach Aycock has coached All-American teams, including national championship teams, and has helped coach at the USA Baseball NTIS.

Coach Aycock spends considerable time scouting amateur players and is heavily involved in college placement of high school players as the director of baseball operations at SportMatch.

Coach Aycock played baseball and basketball at Montreat-Anderson Junior College. He is a member of the Montreat College Sports Hall of Fame.  Coach Aycock graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina where he played baseball.  While in college, Coach Aycock finished in the top 10 in the nation in stolen bases.  Coach Aycock played one year of professional baseball before deciding to attend law school.

Coach Aycock practices law in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he is an “AV” rated board certified family law specialist. Worth magazine named him one of the nation’s top 100 lawyers in 2008 and he is annually recognize as one of North Carolina’s top lawyers.
