Professional Playing Career:

  • 1990 – Drafted by San Diego Padres
  • 1990 – Drafted in the 1st Round, 5th Pick overall, by the Charros De Jalisco in the Mexican -Professional League. Played with the Charros De Jalisco until 1994. Teammates included Fernando Valenzuala, Pedro Guerrero, and Franklin Stubbs
  • 1994-1995 – San Diego Padres purchased contract and played in the Minor leagues within the Organization.
  • 1995 – Returned to the Mexican Professional League with the Charros De Jalisco Organization
  • 1996 – Played with the Lubbock Crickets & Amarillo Dillas in the Texas-Louisiana League
  • 1997 – Started the Banditos Baseball Club in the off-season while still playing Independent baseball with the Alexandria Aces in the Texas-Louisiana League 
  • 1998-2000 – Started Home Plate Batting Cage Facility in The Woodlands, TX while still playing in the Texas-Louisiana League. Ran all 8 Home Plate facilities around the state of Texas.



Ray has been married to Traci DeLeon for 8 years. We have 3 daughters named Ali-16, Adrienne-6, and Ava-4. We currently reside in Tomball, TX!
