I have had the pleasure of coaching several players who have signed pro contracts in my 38 years of coaching. Brian certainly is on the same path as far as ability is concerned. What is more telling about him is that he has a solid support group of friends and family surrounding him. His important numbers come out of the classroom where he performs at an astonishingly high level.  He addresses people he meets with respect and is humble when asked about his accomplishments. His teammates genuinely like him because he accepts the fact that everyone makes mistakes. In my experience Brian is one of the best I have ever coached and has the mature character to go with it.         Mark Brookes Haddam- Killingworth High School Varsity Baseball Coach
Brian is tremendously athletic. He has plus speed, runs the bases well, and has plus ability defensively. He can play both infield and outfield although his speed and routes to balls makes him an elite outfielder. He has plus arm strength (89 mph from outfield) and can play center or right.Offensively he has power and hits balls gap to gap with equal ability. He doesn’t swing and miss often and presents an athletic stance with great balance. His path is efficient as he stays inside the ball well. With all of that said he is probably most effective on the mound. He has repeatable mechanics with a three quarter arm slot. His fastball has good run and he can get it up to 86-87 mph. His secondary pitches are average using a combination of curve ball and change up. He has great command of strike zone.Mike McGuire

CT BRIAN MOSKEY WITH FRANK MOSKEY Brian has partnered with his dad, Frank Moskey, and Stand Up to Cancer for Home Runs that HelpWhen I was 2 years old my Dad was diagnosed with Hodgkins Disease which kept him home from working his job of being a pilot for US Airways for a year and a half. During this time I had endless catches as well as “divers” in my family room with a squishy baseball. This occurred pretty much every day and every night which was the beginning of my baseball career and athletic experience as a whole. He was also my coach from the beginning of tee ball throughout little league. My dad battled through recovery and has supported the American Cancer Society various years after. I felt like this was the right choice because of the support that Major League Baseball gives to Stand Up to Cancer.
