 KS-LARSON-HRH-PROFILE

Ashton has partnered with Will Buckman for Home Runs that Help

Will Buckman, a sweet, easy-going 2.5 year old boy, is facing a fight no child should ever have to experience. In September of 2015, he was diagnosed with Pre-B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. With exceptional care from doctors and nurses at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Will quickly received an official diagnosis and treatment plan and began on a journey towards a cancer-free future.

Will has three years of treatment ahead of him. He has been a strong little boy during his battle so far. Ashton is working with Will’s friends and family as part of Will’s Warriors to raise funds to assist his parents, Laura and Andrew, with the ongoing expenses associated with Will’s treatment.

Ashton and Will have become fast friends.  Ashton is teaching Will to play catch and hopes to teach him his knuckle curve as he gets older.
