WATCH TRISTON’S 10TH PSC HIGHLIGHT VIDEO

My name is John Stone. I am currently the coach for Alleghany 12 U Baseball Travel Team. I have coached travel baseball for ten plus years from ages 7 to 15. Triston has been on several of these teams and currently on the 12 U team now. Triston is an exceptional pitcher, he has a very good fastball with some movement and a good over the top breaking ball that he locates very well. He also plays shortstop for me when not pitching. He has good range from side to side, along with good baseball awareness. Triston also hits at a high level for his age. He has great bat speed and batting form. I can go on and on about Triston’s ability. He plays the overall game at a very high level for his age and has a high level of baseball knowledge.

Triston has partnered with Evan Groves for Home Runs that Help.

Evan was 7 days old he was diagnosed with junction EB.

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a rare genetic connective tissue disorder. There are many genetic and symptomatic variations of EB, but all share the prominent symptom of extremely fragile skin that blisters and tears from minor friction or trauma. Internal organs and bodily systems can also be seriously affected by the disease. EB is always painful, is often pervasive and debilitating, and is in some cases lethal before the age of 30. EB affects 1 out of every 20,000 live births and those born with it are often called ‘Butterfly Children’ because as the analogy goes, their skin is as fragile as the wings of a butterfly. There is no treatment or cure. Daily wound care, pain management and protective bandaging are the only options available.
