Caleb Goddard is an outstanding selection to participate in the POWER SHOWCASE.  He has worked with me over the past three years and has become an extremely solid hitter both mechanically and psychologically.  His approach is smooth, balanced and always consistent whether in the cage or on the field.  Caleb has both an attitude for and knowledge of the game that is well beyond his years. We are very pleased about his well-deserved opportunity to represent Batters Box DeMarini!

Caleb Goddard is what you call a “Silent Leader” that leads by example in all areas of not only baseball but in life. He is a young man that loves to compete at the highest level but can maintain an even keel as big moments arise throughout a game. Caleb is always looking on ways to positively influence his team whether it is a pick me up to a teammate or a big play in the game.  With all the positives about Caleb his strongest attribute is his character and what he stands for as a person. It has been my pleasure to coach Caleb Goddard and I can honestly say his is a young man that I have tremendous respect for.

Rob Shropshire / Head Coach  Batters Box

It is an honor to be writing a letter of recommendation for Caleb Goddard and very proud of him for being selected to the 2015 Power Showcase Future Stars Team. I’ve had the pleasure of working with him pitching for three years or so. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Caleb and his parents. His love for the game has been refreshing, and his passion for becoming a better pitcher is second to none. He has taken a great deal of pride in becoming mechanically and mentally sound which has resulted in Caleb’s ability to pitch with great command of the baseball.

I would like to congratulate and wish the best of luck to all who have been selected to play in this event. I know that Caleb will represent Tupelo, MS in a way that will make us all proud. I look forward to continuing to watch his development for years to come.

Kirk A. Presley / Pitching Instructor

First of all, congratulations to Caleb Goddard and all the players that have been selected to play in the 2015 Power Showcase Future Stars Team. Beginning this past February, I have had the privilege of working with Caleb to enhance his strength, speed, and agility. We have a saying around our facility that says, ‘Attitude Predicts Performance.’ Caleb is a young man that exemplifies exactly what that means.

His respect toward those working with him and his attitude to prepare and do things the right way are visible in the way he plays the game. I am thrilled that he will be representing our area in such a public way because of the hard work he continues to put in when no one is watching.
