Prospect Wire/POWER SHOWCASE Inaugural Florida Event held June 13,2011 at Henley Field – Lakeland Florida

The Winners of this event receive an invitation to the 6th Annual POWER SHOWCASE (Chase Field, Phoenix Arizona – December 27-29,2011)

	Avery Romero, (Pedro Menendez H.S. St. Augustine, FL) hit 9 in the finals to win the event. Romero, also participated is the recent 5th Annual POWER SHOWCASE held at Chase Field this past December. You could easily see the continued dedication to his over physical appearance as well as the maturity in his swing. He hit several balls well over 460 ft.
Underclass Champion - Hayden Platt (Naples H.S.)	Prospect Wire/POWER SHOWCASE Inaugural Florida Babe Ruth Group Champion FL – Hayden Platt (Naples H.S.) 3 Home Runs Platt (Naples H.S.) belted three home runs in the finals to receive an invite to participate in the upcoming 6th Annual POWER SHOWCASE being held at Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ this December. He will compete with the top 50 Power Hitting Underclassman in the country.

Site: Historic Henley Field in Lakeland. Henley Field was the spring-training home of the Detroit Tigers dating back to before the second World War (the team trained in Indiana during the war). Several minor league teams had also played here, but the Tigers got out after the 1965 season.
