Read about Dalton

I have known Ben for 3 years now and can say that he is one of the best kids I have ever coached. He is very respectful to his coaches, teachers and parents. He is hard working and always puts forth great effort whether in the classroom, weight room or baseball field. He has exhibited great leadership on our team, even as an underclassman and has a very positive attitude and even keel when things are not going as well as planned. I know that Ben is interested in going to the Naval Academy and fully believe that the character that is required there is within Ben Lowe. Ben has also shown a servant’s heart in many mission type of activities that our team has been involved in. He stays out of trouble and is just a good natured kid. I believe that all of what makes Ben the man he is his faith in Christ and his willingness to conform to His will.
– Ryan Porter – Head Baseball Coach – Evangelical Christian School
It has been my privilege to coach Ben Lowe and watch him grow up. He is a great kid with high-quality character and a natural talent for baseball. As a part of our team, he has always been a hard-worker with a burning desire to be successful. He is a strong leader. The other guys on the team listen to him and follow his lead. I can always count on Ben to bring out the best in his teammates. His work ethic sets a strong example for everyone around him to follow.Ben is a born winner with great physical tools. He is physically strong and has a baseball physique built for power. With sharp eyes, he sees the ball extremely well. He is a natural with the bat and has a solid swing. He makes something happen every time he is at the plate.

In the field, Ben performs his best at the corners. He has a quick first step and gets the ball in his glove. His release is fast and he delivers the ball with authority.

One of his greatest attributes is his demeanor. His confidence and presence on the mound shows a maturity well beyond his years. In the toughest situations, I know Ben is the guy to call on. He can handle the pressure in a cool – easy way. When he is on the mound, Ben brings calm and focus to everyone on the field.

I am proud that Ben Lowe has an opportunity to showcase his talents in the Power Showcase event. Ben has a great future ahead of him in life and in baseball. I wish you and all of your participants the best of luck . I hope your event is filled with success.

Scouting Reports:RHP/3B Ben Lowe (2014/Evangelical Christian School, Memphis, TN): Mentioned earlier in game blog, think he has higher position ceiling after reading notes, very strong swing, present bat speed, crushed a few balls, long HR, top spins the ball with authority, 6-0/200.
