Read Austin’s Story

Austin had another tremendous year in 2012, leading the Cowboys in just about every offensive category as he continues to rewrite the record books at Labelle High School. He continues to play with such confidence, determination, and true integrity at all times. He has always had total respect for the game and everyone involved and this has set an excellent example for our athletes coming up in all  programs at Labelle High School.  I can honestly say I have never coached a more dedicated individual in my twenty-nine years of service to athletics. The energy and respect he has given is above and beyond that I could have ever asked for in a high school athlete. Austin has not only been a very motivated and gifted athlete, he has been a very caring and humble individual when it comes to helping others.  He has volunteered his knowledge of the game to help our younger athletes throughout his career and given up numerous hours to help out during  community events. It has been a real honor to witness Austin’s development. I cannot imagine a better leader on the baseball field and in our society one day! His contribution to Labelle High School and the community of Labelle will stand out forever.
