Jeff Horton – Official Power Showcase Photographer

Jeff has been with Power Showcase since its inception, capturing every moment of this prestigious event from Scout Day to the closing ceremony and awards presentation.

A Philadelphia native, Jeff moved to South Florida back in 1980. He attended North Miami Beach High School where he played ball and was offered a football scholarship to Culver-Stockton Collage. Jeff now enjoys coaching his son’s little league baseball teams.

Horton Digital uses the most advanced Canon® equipment such as the EOS-1D Mark IV and 5D Mark II camera bodies; 15mm fisheye, 17-35L, 85mm 1.8, 70-200mm IS, and 400mm f2.8 lenses. With the combination of Canon® high speed lenses and speed lighting, our photographers can work in any type of lighting and shoot 10 frames per second.

Jeff has photographed games for the NFL Miami Dolphins, Indy Car and NASCAR races among many others. Some of Jeff’s accomplishments and commitments in sports photography include Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton, FL, all sports photographer and other local area school sports and events photographer. Jeff’s action photography from prior Power Showcase events has been featured in ESPN magazine and Sports Illustrated magazine. Jeff’s photography has also graced the cover of Hot Boats Magazine.
