It is distinct pleasure to talk and refer a great young man that I have coached for 3 years. Jorge Garcia is great young man that would be a benefit to anyone’s program/ball club! He’s a good respectful kid on and off the field. Jorge is a person that goes about his business the right way. This gentleman is being raised with great morals and always takes his actions into consideration. Jorge the ball player is very unique in many ways. He being a “bigger kid” has always had to hurdle obstacles… Which I think is the reason he is the way he is. I personally have grown to know a great player, student and worker of the game of baseball. I like the fact that he listen and is easily coachable. But he learns from his mistakes on offense, defense and on the bases. He hits for average and power… Which is quality that’s hard to find. Will work as hard as anyone defensively, as we have made many improvements on his fielding and staying athletic while throwing the ball. He has areas that needs improvement in his game. But with his work habits, his ability to learn and persevere is what helps him pick things up quickly. I believe in this young man. He not only has a promising future in this game, I think he belongs in this game. Damian Jackson  – Owner/CoachGame Face baseball
My name is Robby Adams, I have been involved in San Diego baseball for the past 25 years, I am currently a varsity baseball coach at San Pasqual high school and also coach an 18u elite travel ball team “Game Face Baseball” with former major leaguer Damian Jackson.I have had the opportunity to coach and watch Jorge Garcia play for the last three years.Hitting:Extreme power to all fields, this kid flat crushes the ball!!! That being said he does so with a very solid approach, he is very short to the ball and has a very good understanding of the strike zone. When we have faced pitchers 88 plus he has no problem making the adjustment. In the past two years I have seen Jorge hit no less than 15 or more home runs well over 400 ft. all with a wood bat. Jorge in my opinion is currently the best high school hitter in San Diego.Fielding:1B—has very good feet for a big guy, and is comfortable around the bag with soft hands,he also has a very strong arm.Character:Jorge plays with intensity and confidence, he is a true leader on and off the field. He is very coachable and is extremely respectful, Jorge has a thirst for knowledge. I have seen him after games writing in a journal every bit of information he can recall of every at bat. Jorge has the “it” factor, he is dedicated and focused and determined, you add that to his extreme talent he is destined for great things.
