Michael Jacobs is a 29 year old Head Varsity Coach at Millennium High School in Goodyear, Arizona.He attended Phoenix College from 2001-2003. Jacobs attended West Virginia University from 2003-2004 and went on to complete his degree in Communications from Lynn University with a 3.4 GPA in 2006.After returning to Arizona, Jacobs became head coach of the Prescott Blazers, a member of the Pacific Southwest Collegiate League. Jacobs led the Blazers to a National Baseball Congress World Series berth. He began teaching and coaching at Copper Canyon High School and accepted the head r54444 varsity coaching position at Millennium High School in 2008. In his first three years , Jacobs has posted a 62-33-1 record, Region Championship (2011), Best of the West Tournament Championship in 2010, 7-4 playoff record, coached two All Star games and has numerous players continuing their baseball careers at the NCAA, NAIA and Junior College levels.Jacobs also coaches for the All Star Baseball Academy under Owner, John Freitas.Coach Jacobs hosts an annual summer camp in June for players aged 6-12 years old who live in the Goodyear area.He lives in Glendale, Arizona with his Beautiful wife and 5 month old son. |
