FYI – The actual start time may vary slightly due to the College Select Home Run Derby taking place beforehand.  Be prepared to start earlier or later. After your Mental Strength Session, with Michael Cooper, you will check-in with Jerry Gonzalez in the First base dugout at 3:30pm. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show!

IMPORTANT! If for some reason, not every player has the opportunity to hit during the Preliminary Round due to time constraints (11:30pm), those players will hit on December 29th at 12:00pm.  It’s going to be a long, but an extremely exciting competition.
FYI – Players who have chosen a high number, and are predicted to hit towards the end of the evening, can leave after the National Anthem, rest up, and come back. Again, you must be here for the beginning/National Anthem.
The top two finalists from each age group will advance to the Championship Round on December 30th and compete for the World Title – 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

*WILDCARDIf a player hits the furthest Home Run and does not finish in the top two, he will also advance to the finals on December 30th.

IN CASE OF A TIE – The player with the most consecutive home runs will advance.  If two or more players have the same number of consecutive Home Runs, then a three-out hit-off will commence.
Finals will begin at roughly 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Finalists will check-in with Jerry Gonzalez in the First base Dugout at 1:30pm.
2:00pm to 3:00pm – 2nd Mental Strength Session – Michael Cooper – Marlins Media Room
3:30pm – PRELIMINARY ROUND Check-in – with Jerry Gonzalez – First Base dugout.
