GEORGIA ROADRUNNER’S

I have had the privilege of coaching Connor Bradley for the past 2 years on the 13U Carolina A’s travel ball team, and I can honestly say this kid is a rare breed of athlete. Connor is the type of kid that every coach wants to have on their team. Through my many years of baseball both as a player and a coach I have found that players like Connor are the players that often will achieve great success at this game.

Connor displays a solid offensive game, hitting with above average power from the left side of the plate, and consistently driving the baseball into gaps or out of the park producing runs in the heart of our lineup. Me as a coach, I can say that Connor is without a doubt the player I want at the plate with runners in scoring position. With average speed, Connor is a very smart baserunner that consistently shows strong awareness on the base paths, the ability to read pitchers allowing him to get very good jumps and steal bases, and has the aggressiveness to take extra bases when given even the smallest windows of opportunity. Even though Connor’s offensive game is where he’s the strongest, he displays a very solid defensive game as well. His ability to read the ball off of the bat allows him to cover a lot of ground in the outfield giving him the capability to take good routes to the ball and track down balls that are hit in the gap. Connor also shows average range and footwork on the infield allowing him to make big plays at first base.

To sum it up, Connor Bradley is a very coachable, humble, and hardworking athlete with loads of talent and athletic ability. He not only excels on the field, he also excels off the field by maintaining a 4.0 GPA as an honor student while displaying a product of good parenting with his respectful, humble, hardworking personality. Connor is the type of player that coaches dream of, and it has definitely been a pleasure for me to have him as a part of the Carolina A’s. I look forward to watching Connor grow as a player and a person and seeing what the future holds for him at the next level of his baseball career.
