Michael Feliz is a currently a player in our Baseball Program at IMG Academy. I have been with the IMG program now as a full time coach for two years and I have seen Michael continue to grow into a fine young man.  Michael is growing as a team leader and this is very nice to see.   As we all know the middle infield position requires lots of focus, engagement, and verbal direction for the team.  Michael is taking the initiative to be more vocal leader and leading by example.  In addition to the baseball field Michael is performing even better in the classroom.   Michael currently has 5 A’s and one B which is one point away from an A.  It is my recommendation that you consider Michael for your Power showcase.  This showcase would be a very good experience for Michael to continue growing as a young man and a  baseball player. Callix Crabbe Junior Varsity Head Coach

NJ MICHAEL FELIZ
NJ MICHAEL FELIZ HRH Michael has partnered with Gabriel Pozo  for Home Runs that Help
In September 2010, our cousin Gabriel Pozo was unexpectedly diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, at the beginning of 11th grade. He was a normal kid, a brother, a son, a student, simply looking forward to the new school year and all the new experiences it would bring. And he was dreaming of getting ready for college….Leukemia was not in his plans. Instead of feeling sorry for himself or giving up, Gabriel showed the world that he had the courage to meet the challenge head on. Not only did he go into the arduous treatments in good spirits, but he continued to study with a home study aid all throughout so that he could continue to follow his dream to go to college. He worked so hard and even though he was ill, and hospitalized for weeks, he managed to make the honor roll. Gabriel is the youngest of five children and lives in Bethlehem PA, with his family. His mom Vilma is his rock, who has remained at his side all throughout his treatment. Leukemia meant that his life turned into very long trips to St. Christopher Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, and long weeks of chemotherapy treatments, away from friends and family. Throughout all of this, he has remained a happy, courageous and kind person, never showing bitterness about this curve ball that came his way. Because of what happened to him, he committed to give back to his community.  While going thru chemotherapy, he managed to do volunteer work with The Ronald McDonald house, and was interviewed for a service announcement for Ronald McDonald charities. Gabriel continues to be full of hope for the future, and has maintained a positive attitude throughout this long journey. He is hoping that in January 2014, with God’s grace, he can hear those words he’s been waiting for the last three years: you are cured and cancer free!
